From Wishful Thinking To Reality: The Art of Manifestation
Updated: Jun 7, 2024
"You do not manifest what you want, You manifest who YOU are"
The concept of manifestation has been around for centuries, but it wasn't until the 2006 book "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne that it gained mainstream popularity. The book introduced the idea that our thoughts and beliefs have the power to attract what we desire into our lives. However, there's a deeper truth to manifestation that goes beyond just attracting what we want. Impact-Site-Verification: a259ef64-efa7-45c2-850e-03d666259be9
Before "The Secret" brought manifestation into the public eye, people were already exploring the idea of creating their reality through spiritual and philosophical practices. From ancient teachings to modern-day mindfulness and self-awareness, people have been seeking ways to tap into their inner power and shape their lives.
Our world is governed by certain laws which we are not consciously aware of, they are the unspoken laws, very much working all the time just like gravity. I started this post with a quote, "You do not manifest what you want, You manifest who YOU are." This means that our outer reality is a reflection of our inner world. Our thoughts, beliefs, values, and emotions shape our identity, and it's this identity that attracts certain experiences, people, and circumstances into our lives. This is called Law of Resonance.
What is the Law of Resonance?
The Law of Resonance states that everything in the universe vibrates at a specific frequency, including our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. This means that we attract people and circumstances that resonate with our inner state. In other words, we manifest who we identify ourselves with, not just what we want.
When we hold a belief, it's like tuning into a specific radio frequency. If our beliefs are aligned with what we desire, we're more likely to attract it into our lives. However, if our beliefs are limiting or contradictory, we may block or repel what we desire.
Why is keeping an unwavering belief is important for manifestation?
Belief plays a crucial role in manifestation because it influences our vibration. When we deeply believe in something, we emit a strong signal that attracts similar energies. We have been conditioned since childhood to think in terms of limiting beliefs, be it from our parents, friends, communities or society at large. If we live in fear, doubt, and restriction of limiting beliefs, we are not living our lives to our full potential as a human being. But, the good thing about limiting belief is that, it can be changed. Just like our minds have been programmed to think in terms of lack, scarcity, we can reprogram it to think in terms of abundance, prosperity. Cultivating unwavering belief can overcome doubts, fears, and limitations, allowing us to tap into the universe's creative potential.
Here's how belief works in manifestation:
1. Alignment: Our beliefs must align with what we desire. If we want abundance but believe we're not worthy, our vibration will contradict our desire.
2. Consistency: We must consistently hold a belief over time. Intermittent beliefs won't produce consistent results.
3. Emotional Connection: We must emotionally connect with our beliefs. Intellectual understanding alone isn't enough; we must feel the belief in our heart and gut.
4. Faith: We must have faith that our desires will manifest, even if we can't see how. Faith bridges the gap between our current reality and our desired outcome.
5. Letting Go: We must let go of attachment to specific outcomes and trust the universe's plan. Attachment can block the manifestation process.
The universe responds to our inner state, not just our desires. By aligning our beliefs, emotions, and vibrations, we can tap into the Law of Resonance and manifest our dreams.
The 12 Universal Laws
We are governed by 12 Universal Laws, often overlooked in manifestation teachings. Understanding these laws is crucial for successful manifestation. The 12 laws are:
1. Law of Divine Oneness: Everything in the universe is connected and part of a single, unified whole. We are all one with the universe and each other.
2. Law of Vibration: The universe vibrates at a specific frequency and communicates with us in frequencies. Our thoughts, emotions, and actions send out vibrations that attract similar energies.
3. Law of Resonance: This law states that vibrations resonate with similar energies, amplifying their effects. When we align our vibrations with what we desire, we attract it into our lives.
4. Law of Attraction: Like energies attract each other. What you seek is seeking you. Our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs attract similar energies, manifesting our desires.
5. Law of Rhythm: Everything in the universe has a natural cycle of growth, decay, and renewal. We must learn to flow with life's rhythms and cycles.
6. Law of Cause and Effect: This law states that every action has a consequence. We must take responsibility for our actions and learn from our mistakes.
7. Law of Compensation: The universe balances and repays our efforts and intentions. What we give, we receive. What goes around, comes around.
8. Law of Reciprocity: This law states that what we give, we receive. When we support others, we receive support in return.
9. Law of Perpetual Transmutation: It states that energy transforms, but never be destroyed. We can transform our thoughts, emotions, and experiences into something new and positive.
10. Law of Polarity: This law states that opposites exist and are interconnected, like light and dark. We must find balance and harmony in life's opposites.
11. Law of Correspondence: This law states that our inner world reflects our outer world. Our thoughts and beliefs shape our reality.
12. Law of Gratitude: Appreciation and gratitude attract positive energies and abundance. When we focus on what we're thankful for, in our current circumstances we attract more blessings.
Remember, these laws are not meant to be rigid rules but rather guidelines to help us understand the universe's workings and our place within it. By working with these laws, we can create a more harmonious and fulfilling life.
Manifestation is not a one time thing, it's a lifestyle, one which will not only give you your desired life, but better understanding of the world and how to operate in it. Manifestation is not just about attracting what we want; it's about becoming the person we need to be to achieve our desires. By aligning our beliefs, emotions, and vibrations, we can unlock the doors to our full potential and live a life of purpose, abundance, and joy.
So, take the first step today. Identify what you want to manifest, align your beliefs and emotions, and trust in the universe's plan. Remember to be patient, persistent, and grateful, and know that the universe is always working in your favor.
Go out there and manifest your dreams. The universe is waiting for you."
